Beautiful wooden sliding doors open completely so that you have an uninterrupted view of the mountain. There is also access to a private rooftop (only reachable from this room). Enjoy a relaxing bath with a magical view. The bathroom has a double sink and a shower

KINGS CHAMBER

Up a spiral staircase and into this vast, open-plan and thatched bedroom that offers spectacular views of the valley from the private walkway to a lookout with a swing. There’s a vintage copper bathtub and of course… an outdoor shower.

ETERNAL SUITE

The largest of the bedrooms with its own sitting area and two balconies.
Eclectic artefacts and Persian carpets adorn the thatched bedroom while giant clam-shell basins, a free-standing tub and indoor and outdoor showers await in the bathroom.

The quirkiest of the bedrooms has wooden floors a stained-glass bay window.

But it’s really just the ante-room for the most magical of bathrooms. Green mosaics line the floors and walls that lead to wood-framed skylights – laze a while in the oval bath and let your mind wander into fantasy.

Brilliant - I've never witnessed such impressive architecture and attention to detail anywhere. This is much less a "guest house" and much more an experience and building to pay respect to. The artwork, unique decor and architecture of each room is outstanding. The spaces, rooms and outside areas are enormous, much larger than any of the photos depict. Even at maximum capacity, I can't imagine anybody ever having a hard time finding a huge section of the property in peace, for their own activity or an hour of peace.

Wonderland is the most magical place I´ve ever seen. There are so many hidden spots and spaces with surprises in this beautiful country -style guesthouse. The Koi fish jungle invites to you to wander around the garden and the pool is beautifully laid into an adventurous garden, very inviting for kids and adults who want to challenge their inner child 😉 The saune with a window to the koi fish pond was my favorite gem. So much fun to play around there. The location of wonderland is in such a quiet mountain valley in Hout bay, in the night you can hear only birds and the sounds of nature. What a special place on earth, I will come back for sure!
